I have an unconventional perspective on life and success. Growing up in Cleveland, my family faced financial challenges; we shopped at garage sales and Goodwill for clothes, and I was often teased for it. At 15, I took a job at a call center, cold-calling to solicit donations—a baptism by fire into the world of sales.
By 18, I discovered Texas Hold'em poker and became obsessed. Realizing I could earn more by recruiting online poker players than by playing, I launched an affiliate marketing agency. This venture skyrocketed to $12 million in sales. But at 20, the U.S. government banned online poker, and my thriving business evaporated overnight.
Undeterred, at 21, I ventured into B2B text message marketing with EnMobile, targeting Fortune 500 companies. For four years, I struggled to gain traction, eventually going broke and burning out. At 24, humbled and financially depleted, I sought stability in corporate sales, securing positions at IBM and later Google.

During this period, I noticed a glaring inefficiency: 75% of my time was consumed by manual prospecting. Determined to find a solution, I developed Seamless.AI, an automated prospecting tool. This innovation not only propelled my sales performance—closing over $100 million in deals—but also laid the foundation for my next entrepreneurial leap.
Encouraged by industry peers, I transitioned Seamless.AI from an internal tool to a marketable product. With initial clients on board, I faced a pivotal decision: hire a sales team or commit fully to this venture. My wife challenged me to go all-in, leading me to resign from my corporate job and dedicate myself entirely to Seamless.AI.
Today, Seamless.AI has surpassed $200 million in sales, contributed to $36 billion in client revenue, and serves over a million users worldwide. This journey has reinforced a profound lesson: success is rarely linear; it's often a series of failures leading to a breakthrough.

1-14:
Grew up lower class in Cleveland. Clothes from garage sales/goodwill. Made fun of a lot growing up as a kid.
15-16:
I got my first sales job at a call center in Lakewood, Ohio, working 3-8 pm cold calling people to donate to local police, firefighters, unions, etc. I liked sales, but I wasn't sure about it.
17:
Learned how to play Texas hold 'em poker and loved it. Became obsessed with playing daily.
18:
Realized I could make more money recruiting people to play online poker than my hourly rate actually playing. Launched an affiliate marketing agency for online poker. Got paid $150 - $300 / per signup. Scaled to $12M in sales.
20:
Poker banned in the US by Pres Bush and shut down the business. Now I needed to start brainstorming about the next big business to launch.
21:
Launched a B2B text message marketing business called EnMobile.
23:
Couldn't generate enough sales to the Fortune 1,000 and shut down EnMobile. Lost all the money I made from Poker, and now I'm broke.
24:
I had no money, so I worked hard to get an enterprise sales job selling for IBM Interactive.
25:
Realized 75% of my time was wasted on list building and prospecting. Needed to automate it.
26:
Out of my apartment built my own list-building software called Seamless.AI
27:
Become a millionaire in sales selling for IBM and Google using Seamless.AI

A bunch of people in the industry kept asking to buy the software I built, so I finally started selling it.

With 10-100 customers, I told my wife I wanted to hire my first sales rep for the company. She told me...

Hired our first salesperson who is now our Chief Revenue Officer, Mike Hopkins, check him out in the Ohio sweatshirt! Also, our current VP of Product, Jake Phillips, who wanted take another stab at building a startup with me after our first failed company didn’t take off in college (can see him in the flashback flip phones above!)
31:
Our small team worked out of my 2,000 sq ft townhome everyday until our HOA finally had enough of all the cars.
32:
Worked at Newark Venture Partners in New Jersey to raise capital for a seed round, it only took 337 rejections from investors before we finally got our first yes... then our next yes and from there they started to roll on in.

Got a small office in Columbus, Ohio in 2019 that we never thought we could fill and hired our first 20 employees.

Started my podcast, Sales Secrets from the Top 1% and launched my first book, Seven Figure Social Selling, while the Seamless.AI officially surpassed it’s first $1M in ARR. This is when things started to get interesting.

Seamless.AI becomes LinkedIn Top Startup in the United States during the Pandemic... Our business is beginning to get recognized in the industry and from there I launched my 2nd best-selling book, Sales Secrets, with over 100+ interviews with the world’s top sales experts to share all their secrets of sales success with the world.

Released my 3rd best-selling book, Whatever It Takes, which to this day is still my most widely successful book! This book was written during COVID and I poured everything I had into this book because I knew that people were feeling helpless and could use these lessons to make a positive impact in their own life and their families.

For the 1st-time in front of hundreds and hundreds of attendees, I was honored with being the Keynote Speaker for Jeb Blount’s Outbound Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. While at the same time, Seamless.AI becomes a LinkedIn Top Startup in the United States for a 2nd time and I released my 4th best-selling book, The Ultimate Guide to Breaking Into Tech Sales: Land Your Dream Job, Make Six Figures, & Work From Anywhere.

Seamless.AI becomes a LinkedIn Top Startup in the United States for a 3rd time and final time. Also, released my 5th best-selling book, Power of Going All-In: Secrets for Success in Business, Leadership, and Life to share secrets to building, leading, and managing a world-class company.

Seamless.AI turns 10 years old and as I reflect back, this company has now surpassed $200M+ in sales, delivered $36 billion in client revenue, has over 1 million users, and tens of thousands of customers.
